The Community Nurses employed by Western Isles NHS Board and attached to The Group Practice are all part of the East Side Community Nursing Team. In Habost the community nurse is Peigi Mairi Murray.

Health Visitors

NHS Western Isles Health Visitors are attached to the Practice in Stornoway and Mary Munro is the NHS Health Visitor in Habost.

The Group Practice in Stornoway and Habost is a Training Practice.  A qualified doctor currently training in General Practice (GP Registrar) may be attached to the surgery and will do clinics and home visits.  They will occasionally video their clinics and your permission will be requested before this takes place.  Dr Macleod is the GP Trainer.

Medical students from Aberdeen University and others undergoing training may also be attached to the practice from time to time, under the supervision of Dr Scott.  They sit in on consultations and may undertake consultations supervised by a doctor.  We will explain this to you and request your permission.  If you do not wish the student to be present we will respect your wishes.  This will not affect your treatment in any way.
